Church Weddings
Whissonsett Church is the local village Parish Church (Church of England), one mile to the east of Godwick.
In recent years the Rector and congregation have taken great pleasure in welcoming ‘Godwick’ wedding couples to celebrate a Service within the ancient, sacred walls, on their special day.
This can be an actual Wedding, including the legalities, if a couple have been able to become part of Sunday worship at Whissonsett Church for at least six months. Or the Service can be one of Marriage Blessing, still with the feel of an actual Wedding, following the legalities elsewhere.
