Our Twilight package is available exclusively on midweek dates — Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The following timeline is based on a Tuesday Twilight wedding.
Monday
16:00 – Check into Accommodation
Your wedding experience begins with a relaxed check-in at the stunning Old Stables. Take some time to get settled before the excitement begins. Additional accommodation can be added if you wish. Alternatively, if you’d prefer not to stay in the Old Stables, we can offer you a bespoke quote.
Tuesday
9:00 – Check into Godwick Great Barn
After a relaxing sleep, it’s time to decorate your wedding venue. A member of our team will be on hand to greet you at the barn. We always recommend hiring a professional stylist and florist to dress the barn, so you can leave them to it while you enjoy your morning with family and friends.
12:00 – Back to the Accommodation to Get Ready
The timing of when you return to your accommodation will depend on how long it takes you to get ready, so feel free to make this part as relaxed as you’d like!
15:15 – First Registrar Meeting
Before the ceremony, the registrars will meet briefly with each to-be-wed, to go over the final details and confirm everything is correct. They usually meet with the person who will be waiting at the end of the aisle first. They want to ensure you feel calm and fully informed about how the ceremony will run.
15:30 – All Guests Arrive
We make sure that all guests have arrived before anyone walks down the aisle—no one should see you until your moment!
15:45 – Second Registrar Meeting
Once the other to-be-wed has arrived, they will meet with the registrar to go over the same details in the bar area, away from guests.
16:00 – Ceremony Starts
The big moment! With the barn beautifully lit and your guests in place, it’s time for your ceremony. Whether inside or out, the soft glow of the setting sun will create a magical atmosphere.
16:30 – Reception Begins
As soon as your vows are exchanged, the reception begins. The bar will be open for guests to order drinks. If you’d like to offer a drink to each of your guests, you can place money on a tab, and we’ll take care of it for you.
18:30 – Speeches
While Twilight weddings are designed to be informal and relaxed, some couples choose to have speeches before the meal. Our gorgeous dining tables will be set up, allowing guests to sit and listen, but there’s no need for formal table plans or place settings.
19:00 – Food Trucks Open
Depending on your guest numbers, we typically recommend two or three food trucks. Guests can grab their food and either sit inside or outside to enjoy it.
20:30 – First Dance
After enjoying your meal, it’s time for dancing. We welcome DJs or bands to provide evening music for you to dance the night away—starting with the couple’s first dance.
23:00 – Last Orders at the Bar
As the night winds down, the bar announces last orders, marking the final stretch of your wedding celebration.
23:30 – The Day Draws to a Close
The music winds down, and the lights come up. Your guests will begin to say their goodbyes, knowing they’ve been part of something truly special.
Wednesday
8:00-9:00 – Barn Open for De-Rigging
The following morning, the barn will be open for de-rigging. We aim to make this easy for you, gathering most of your items the night before so you can quickly grab and go.
10:00 – Check Out of Accommodation
Finally, check out of the accommodation and start heading home after a Twilight wedding you won’t forget.
