With brighter mornings and the first signs of spring emerging across the Norfolk countryside, there’s a renewed sense of energy at Godwick. Behind the scenes, preparations are in full swing – our first barn weddings of the year have already filled the space with love, and these first months of the year have been a joy, with guests enjoying slow countryside stays.
Before we dive into the busy season ahead, we would love to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful moments that inspire us – from memorable celebrations and exciting events to new opportunities and collaborations. Wedding Showcase Days
We’ve had not one but two magical showcase days already this year. Our January event, styled by the fabulous Penny from Synched Events, was bursting with cherry-red inspiration, and in March, we embraced an Italian alfresco vibe in collaboration with Smoke and Wildwood, Array, and Quirk Events. Seeing The Great Barn brought to life in such unique ways is always a joy!

Introducing Godwick Love Stories
We’re excited to announce the launch of Godwick Love Stories – sharing real weddings at Godwick that showcase the love, laughter, and magic at our venue. We’re launching these to celebrate our couples, collaborations with suppliers and meaningful moments that inspire. We hope you enjoy exploring more of our real weddings, beautiful galleries and advice from our couples.

New Event Manager
We’re thrilled to welcome Catrin to the Godwick team this March! With a wealth of experience in event management, she’ll be bringing her expertise to our evening events and special gatherings. We can’t wait for you to meet her and see the magic she brings to Godwick!

The days are getting longer, the air is fresh, and it’s the perfect time for a countryside escape. Whether you’re after a romantic retreat, a peaceful break, or an outdoor adventure, now’s the time to book your spring stay. Our luxury accommodation has recently been refreshed with our annual spring clean. We’ve freshened up the paintwork, cleaned the carpets and ensured the gardens are maintained and prepped ahead of Spring. We can’t thank our team behind the scenes enough for their hard work throughout this season.
Awakening Retreat – 4th – 6th April
Looking to reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself? Join us at The Awakening Retreat for a weekend of self-care, growth, and inspiration! Hosted by MAYU’s nutritionist Pamela Taylor and private chef Kieron Abbott, alongside the serene practices of Zen yoga and meditation with Marie Isaac of Wellbeing by the Sea.
